Weather seems to have cleared up from this morning, and the ground seems to be drying up. Still too risky to play?

Outside my flat (in Oerlikon) the road is still covered in water. I think the pitch is probably unplayable.

I live quite close to the pitch and here, as well, the roads are still quite wet. But it seems like it clearing up. But I have never tried to play on the pitch (while wet nor dry) so I trust your expertise.

However, what about to take the final decision in one hour or so? (Really wants to play)

When it's like this, you can't sprint or turn, and anyone who tries to shoot on the run is asking for trouble. It's really unsafe.

If it was *really* sunny, we might have a chance.

Okay. I guess the game is off then, because we wouldn't want to see anyone get injured.

Hopefully I am able to sign up for the game next week. Thanks for arranging these events.

Hi all - anyone interested in trying to get a mid week, evening game going indoor?

Weather is getting pretty unpredictable, so might very soon be the end of the Sunday footie.

Personally would like maybe a Monday evening from 6.30 or something. Indoor be best, but even settle for something like astro for a few months!

1) Anyone interested?
2) Any suggestions for venues?

I'm definitely up for a midweek game. Finding a venue may be tricky though, when I did a quick search the only results were the halls operated by Stadt Zürich, which I've heard are hard to get a booking for.

I'd be interested in a midweek match too, don't mind whether it's outdoors or indoors. There are quite a lot of outdoor pitches next to the train line past Altstetten but don't know about the cost/booking situation. Might be a bit far out of the centre for some people...

i'm also interrested, indoor or outdoor;

but i don't know where we can play, except maybe a outdoor field near wiedikon (goldbrunnenstr. i think) which seems free.

We have created a facebook group with a friend to gather potential players at university but so far, it's not very successful (maybe 4-5 guys really willing to play)
