Whoa, not yet confirmed, but I think I may actually be in Neuchatel that weekend. Would be nice to meet the Neuch gang.

I'm going to be leaving Neuchâtel at the end of this month for work-related reasons (I have finally found a job but it isn't in NE).

Because of this I probably won't be around even though I will still have an address here until at least Christmas, so best if I don't commit to anything.

We could be up for that too as it's easy to take the (not so) little guy there.

Would love to - but will be babysitting grandchildren in London. Have fun.

I would love a Christmas event - is it not treacherous getting your place at that time of year?! I suppose there are such things as winter tyres (I'm so stupid - of course you have to be able to get out and about).

Also, would there be an opportunity in the near future to head to France one Saturday? Maybe the second weekend of November?

I would have loved to come but I wont be arriving until 2nd week of November. Maybe I will attend the next one.

Off to UK for first two weeks but could probably organise a day out shopping in Pontarlier for Saturday 19th.

For Christmas 'do' - any nervous driver can always drive or train to Fleurier and take the bus as you did last time- those drivers are not bothered by a few metres of snow! (sensitive noses though ...).

BTW- remember the same bus goes all the way to Pontarlier - so you can go shopping there anytime. Bus stops at the SNCF train/TGV station. 2 mins walk into town.

OK, I know Odile probably still can't come, but I've changed the date to the 12th which hopefully means more people will be able to come.
