Basel Wall Climbing

I have booked a private lesson for Thursday 1800 (I think the cost is 55 per hour(will need 1.5 hrs)) If any newbie is interested in joining me let me know. Cost will be halved etc. It is rather difficult to get going if don't know how to handle belaying...plus it doesnt seem fair to take the time of the other people to belay you and not return the favour....

i'd be interested in doing this in the future (next year). but maybe you will not need the private lessons by then

After my efforts to join for the last few weeks, today I am finally planning to come to climbing. Is anyone going?

Sadly I am still in the US, I shall be back on Friday tho. (Hope to make it)

Lesson completed so happy to belay. Arms still ache though..

Also found out that today (friday 9th) is the opening night of the new boulder room (cave) above the reception area and was told that it could be rather busy. Still I will come along to see whats going on.

Slammer has given mucho thoughto to go climbing, buuut I don´t think so, you would need a BIIIIIG counterweight

I really want to start joining these climbing sessions but I don`t want to end up there on my own there

I know what ya mean...

Sure yea I will be there but not until about 1930 though...need to eat first...I will be the knob with the long sleeved dark blue/white top 'Glacier 3000' written on the back. Probably loitering around the reception...
