For the Basel English Panto Group production, Treasure Island, we need stage-hands. If you can be available on any or all of:

Sunday 3rd December (from about 1pm)
Tuesday 6th December (from about 18:00)
Thursday 8th December (from about 18:00)
Friday 9th December (from about 18:00)
Saturday 10th December (from about 13:00, and again at about 18:00)
Sunday 11th December (from about 12:30, and again at 16:00)

Then we'd like to hear from you. Each show lasts about 2 hours. On the Sunday, it would be useful to be there all afternoon - we should be finished by 18:00. It's at the Scala theatre, behind Starbucks, on Freie Strasse.

We also need some help Friday morning, moving stuff from our Cellar to the theatre.

I did my first stint as a stagehand for Rent back in June, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd do it again for this one, but as assistant director, I'm not allowed near the actors once performances begin ).

you could try the international school in Reinach. Kids in grade 9-12 need to earn community service hours and there's usually a few student actively looking for stuff to do. I think the teacher to contact is Kirsten Jaehde, phone number for the reception is 0617153333

I'll just make this clear: this is not a job, it's not a paid position, it's joining in on a not-for-profit cultural/social event. No-one (except external companies) is paid for taking part in the Panto.
