Meeting Point: Schanzengrabenpromenade School Yard
Fun, friendly football fun close to Paradeplatz.

Notes:

* Please sign as 'yes' or 'no'. 'Maybe' only after 15 people have signed up.
* Check the thread for a game on / game off notice
* Play nice - it's FUN, not the World Cup final.
* The time is 12:00 - 14:00
* New players and women are very welcome (unless we've reached the player limit)
* All skill levels are represented, ranging from comically inept to Spanish
* It's free
* A lovely, refreshing fountain is nearby. Bring a plastic bottle.
* If the pitch is slippy or if it's raining the event is cancelled (because it's really dangerous)

PLAYER LIMIT 15
AFTER 15 people have signed up then go ahead and sign up as 'Maybe', so that we have an orderly waiting list.

If you have signed up as 'Yes':
Please show up on Sunday or update your status well in advance.

If you are signed up on the 'Maybe' waiting list:
Keep checking through till Sunday morning to see if anybody has dropped out.

Sorry i have no idea other than the river, if you are ok with the freezing water then it shouldnt be a problem

What i do after the game (and sometimes during the breaks) is go to the nearby fountain and give myself a cowboy bath (just grab a bunch of watter and poured in the head .. on summer the shirt was also included) .. just to get most of the sweat of and refresh a little bit.

That could be sloopy plan c

there is the luxor sports club near stockerstrasse

or you can try your luck at the ETH polyterrasse, the guard is often not at his seat or should let you in for a shower

or a sauna at seebad enge (i think entrance is 30CHF )

So where do we stand with the weather? here in affoltern is not raining but outside is foggy and a little wet.

weather forecast says "partly cloudy" ...

Similar to last week, the conditions, i'd say. We had a good game then.

Can I not just give you that little push to come c123. We could really use the extra player. Come on, you know you want to play.

A big sorry to everyone that turned up to play yesterday. We had no idea that the Zurcher Silvesterlaufen would use our field for changing rooms. Let's hope that the weather stays warm and dry so we can have a game next Sunday.

Fingers crossed for either some decent snow in Züri (missed it at Xmas) or very dry weather in January...
