Hello!

As mentioned by Basher here, I am the "celebrity" host for the A-Z of dining for February. The letter is "M".
Basher is GLAD not to be with us at the A-Z in February, anyone who knows him will know why.

I have picked Moitié-Moitié as the theme, no this is not some weird 50/50 or a half/half thing, it is a cheese fondue made of two cheeses, Gruyère and Fribourger Vacherin.

I have reserved a MAXIMUM of 20 persons to eat Fondue at the Fribourger Fondue Stuebli. Rotwandstrasse 38, 8004 Zürich - walking distance from Helvetiaplatz or Stauffacher.
***RESERVATION IS AT 19:30*****


Swiss German lesson for the day:
FIGUGEGL = Fondue isch guet und git e gueti Luune!
(fondue is good and creates a good mood)

I phoned the Fribourger Stübli to confirm that we are only 15 persons and they said only 15 people can fit on one table so I have CLOSED the RSVP option for this event.
Should anyone else like to join please PM me and I will see what I can do.

Should one of you NOT be able to make it plesae let me know ASAP so I can give your spot/s to someone else.

Crumbs and i-b-deborah have already been bumped (what does Prof T call it?) into position . Bluemoose has been contacted and I am hoping he/she will say yes!

Apèro will be at BAR SI O NO on the Ankerstrasse 6, 8004 Zürich.
I should be at the bar as of 18:30, otherwise I will see you all at the restaurant at 19:30 - it takes 7 min to walk from the bar to the restaurant and I expect you all at the restaurant on time - jaja the Swiss in me is showing I know.

Excellent!!! ^^^

Looking forward to it, and by the way, great choice of bar for the apero. I was introduced to it by Prof. T. - if I remember correctly - before the Lebanese dinner in December, and loved it.

Let's just hope that this time the bartender is a bit more "awake" than the one at Kaufleuten, and if I say "I'll take a coke", he does not somehow translate it in his head with "Jack and coke".

(Or I might just go straight to the Jack and coke this time)
