Well if it was a mistake I hope they will ungroan us, but if not, I agree with the weirdo sign for both of them!

The only plausible reason I can think of for the groans (besides weird) is that they both perhaps do not get as much pleasure from food as we do?

No, but the quantity of food I ate was rather for 3 people

No fondue ever on the menu that I have seen.
They do a daily pasta, fish, meat and veggie meal of the day including soup or salad. Prices range from 21-32 depending on which option you take.
Staples on the lunch menu (no soup or salad included) are:
Zürich Veal "geschnetzeltes" with Butterrösti CHF 39.00
Veal meatloaf Drei Stuben mit Mashed potatoes, vegetables CHF 33.00
Bratwurst with onionsauce Butterrösti CHF 23.00- It is the HUGEST bratwurst I have ever seen
