Conversation group re-starting for learners of German language at "Mittelstufe" or higher, every Wednesday evening. Exceptions noted in replies below.

The place is ALL BAR ONE. I'll try to reserve the table on the ground floor in the corner.

Please reply to me (PM) or post if you are interested. We can exchange handy numbers to make it easier to find each other or if someone is late

  • Ginge - I will be there (All Bar One) at 7PM even if I have to talk German to myself. Then I'll have to correct my own grammar, as well as looking something of a saddo! Crawford - I hope you can make it! Anyone else up for a beer and some rather stilted German...

OK, now that I fixed the event timing, the registrations have gone away.

Anyway: Carlos, it is pay as you go for drinks/food, the conversation is free as I am not a teacher. My friend who has been coming quite regularly is a a qualified German teacher, but she can't come this Wednesday.

One suggestion is ALL BAR ONE. I will call them on Monday evening to see if I can reserve a table. So, yesses and maybes, please make yourselves known.

I am definitely interested, but unfortunately cannot come at the moment due to lack of babysitter (husband globetrotting ..).

I'm rated by Inlingua as a C1, but I'm more comfortable as a B2.

I'm looking for a recommendation for a German teacher in Basel for a near beginner, perhaps a few private lessons or maybe a small group, if Bruce or anyone has any contacts.
