To maybees - would be good if you confirm your participation timely so I can reserve enough places in Carambolage.
You don't have much to loose - you will need to eat anyway, and there's not much to do on Sunday.
And don't forget - Brunch is the new breakfast!

To recognize each other - I will send a PM with my phone number to all the people that are coming.
Or I can put something on the table, like GI Joe action figure or something....
Cheers!

Dear all,
please confim whether you are coming (or not) on the Sunday brunch.
There are still places left (I have reserved total of 15 places), but those who are MAYBE should decide. I mean - is it really really that hard?
I would love to confirm to the bar how many people are coming.
Cheers!

You wouldnt believe how cozy the bar is; and the prices are more than reasonable (i.e. cheap, which you dont find easily in Basel).....

i'm contemplating doing the trip but it has to be worth it!!! | | | | | Brunch is good, and the company is fantastic!
The culinary variety will be overwhelming for rösti-habituated person from Bern! You will forget your Zytglogge instantly the moment you smell the heaven; plus the intelectual yet fun company will create long-lasting memories of lovely Basel.
Convincing enough?

Anyway, the food is fresh, and prepared on the spot. You have the menu and you select what you want. Last time I had avocado filled with something very nice, cheese, ham, egg, toast, butter, salad and coffee. You wont find e.g. roasted lamb chops, or dodo bird.
I enjoyed it, and since it is only once per month, I thought of making it a habit going there. BUT - wouldnt it be great to have a few nice EFers along for a good start of Sunday?
There is also a Sunday fleamarket about 150m from there, though this Sunday will probably be too cold.

hi there, thanks for the reply!
sounds nice! long sunday brunches must be the single thing i miss most here. and of course i would love to meet the basel EF people..but i thought it over and i have to be realistic: after partying tonight, the chances that i wake up in time to go to the station (about 35 mins from where i live) and get the train to basel (1h) to be there in time are quite slim!
have fun, nonetheless!

Anyway, we are having London tomorrow on brunch, obviously, so it is the best of both worlds.

Brilliant brunch/lunch. Thanks for arranging!
You left your crayons behind Meeyat - the waitress is keeping them for you.
