Meeting Point: Schanzengrabenpromenade School Yard
Fun, friendly football fun close to Paradeplatz.

Notes:

* Please sign as 'yes' or 'no'. 'Maybe' only after 15 people have signed up.
* Check the thread for a game on / game off notice
* Play nice - it's FUN, not the World Cup final.
* The time is 12:00 - 14:00
* New players and women are very welcome (unless we've reached the player limit)
* All skill levels are represented, ranging from comically inept to Spanish
* It's free
* A lovely, refreshing fountain is nearby. Bring a plastic bottle.
* If the pitch is slippy or if it's raining the event is cancelled (because it's really dangerous)

PLAYER LIMIT 15
AFTER 15 people have signed up then go ahead and sign up as 'Maybe', so that we have an orderly waiting list.

If you have signed up as 'Yes':
Please show up on Sunday or update your status well in advance.

If you are signed up on the 'Maybe' waiting list:
Keep checking through till Sunday morning to see if anybody has dropped out.

I would love to come!

I'm wondering how many people wear proper football boots. All I have is trainers right now so I'd like to know what I'm getting into. ;p

West Coast, would you mind resigning up? I had the wrong date scheduled (i.e. today rather than this coming Sunday).

Also, nobody wears football boots because it's a hard field (the pseudo-cushioned stuff you find on kid's playgrounds). Most of us wear futsal shoes or trainers, so you're sorted.

Come on people, let's get another 3-4 folks to sign up so we can have a game this Sunday.

I know it might seem a little chilly out there but 10 minutes of running about and I guarantee you'll be toasty.

Thanks to everyone that signed up, those enrolled as a 'Maybe' have a quick look at the sign up list Sunday morning to see if a place has opened up for you to join in (Note: we have a player limit of 15).

Tomorrow should be cold but dry. Wear your warm tracksuit and your (woolly) shin guards, which will serve as protection against both kicks and the biting chill.

PS. correct date should be the 22.01, as matches are on Sundays

when is the next session? The weather starts to get really nice, so i think we could open the spring season 2012 on upcoming Sundays?
