For example, mini-mimi, who is three (or almost three) eats a full plate of food. Thus, mimi pays for her to eat. I also know some kids are very picky and won't eat much. It is a judgment call.
All we ask is that you are fair to the venue when you make this decision. In general, if the child is coming there to eat the roast, the parent should be willing to pay for him/her.

I sent you a PM, we're in for 4 adults.
I still have 2 friends plus their 3 year old, but I also think they might be put off by paying 25 CHF for her as she'll eat about 5 CHF worth of food. :-S

We happily paid SFr25 for Nick Jnr when we went and he is only 4. He eats pretty well and I am not going to start splitting hairs about how full his plate is etc when JLF is doing such a grand job of arranging these events and having to field all manner of dumb questions.
We won't make it today as we had a prior engagement. Hope you all have a fine time.
Cheers,

You could order from the normal menu for the kids ? I think this is still available on the day for guests not joining the roast dinner event ?

I'm with Nick on this one. Mini-mimi certainly doesn't eat as much as us and 25CHF may seem like a lot, but the quality of the food, the company and everything else really makes it money well spent. I'd go as far to say that we would probably pay full price for her if we had to. It's rare that we find a good child friendly event and this is by far one of the best ones.
We even hire a mobility car for the occasion | | This user would like to thank mimi1981 for this useful post: | |

but seriously, the quality of food is excellent and plentiful. As there are a lot of space, kids can run around without getting under our feet and adults can have chats and relax. I also have to add, the staff are really service orientated with a good selection of inexpensive drinks to choose from.
JLF is doing an excellent job in organising this for our enjoyment without benefit to herself may be just for our company. Cheers!

I have received payment from gourmet, coconut, and Ouchboy...
Word (i.e., PM) that money is on the way:
mimi and her +2
JanermacP and her party
summerrain and her party
So the question is then, Crazy bird, where are you? Hope you are still coming. Please pm me or update your status here.
Also, if you are not able to get me the money by Thursday (i.e., tomorrow), you can still pre-pay at the venue until Saturday. And walk-ins on the day of the event are welcome. I am sure there will be plenty of food this time. If you are part of EF, mention that. Price is just 10CHFs more for walk-ins (and this only counts for adults--children stay 25CHFs).
Looking forward to it everyone! Thanks! |

This must be the most expensive Sunday roast in the World, sorry but unless you want to eat like a pig it's an expensive lunch!

This has been discussed ad nauseam, and truly, for what is offered, it is actually quite reasonable (hence why people keep coming back).
Get off our thread, troll. You are not welcome here.
