AIROLO skiing

Taking advantage of the SBB 50% discount on the Airolo ski package.

With halbtax from Zurich, the trip plus ski pass costs 42.5 CHF.

I will go Saturday (leave Zurich HB at 6) so can be on the slopes before 9.
The 30k slopes are mostly intermediate (50%) and advanced (50%).
I will rent the equipment there (costs about 40 CHF).

PM me if anyone is going or wants to join.

Re: AIROLO skiing

They changed the price... Today I checked it and it costs 65CHF now.
Ich am afraid, they did a mistake.
Check it tomorrow.

Re: AIROLO skiing

The discounts (Top Angebote) were just for January.
For February they issued a new offer but which does not include any ski package

Ah! Good to know!
There's no ski package at all?
I hope they do it for marz or april. This winter is going to be cold and the snow will last long.

The ski packages are still there but there are no longer the extra savings on them (like the 50% on the SBB ticket for Airolo for the last month).

Still some are worth to consider as they give some discount (looks like 30%) on the ski pass, bus and probably SBB.

What's now the best option for a beginner with the snow'n'rail discounts?

I found out that this month you can go to Sattel-hochstuckli for 44CHF from Zurich HB.

I never was there. Do you recommend me this resort? Thanks

Re: AIROLO skiing

Never been there but will search for info. Thx.

This weekend I am thinking to try Braunwald.
It is about 50 CHF train plus ski pass from ZH with halbtax.
