Too short notice. Next time perhaps. I have never been out of an evening in Bern and it's obviously a key challenge with it being the capital city n'all.

dave | | | | | not that much of a challenge, but still entertaining. Will give a longer heads up & the offer of a bed for the night flung in if required. |

Wednesday ... you can also send along your other half, unless he too is flouncing around in a nifty dress ?

Shame, I should venture out into the 'big smoke' again.
Never mind, you made mention of wanting to see "new faces" this time and I've still only got the same old one, so it's probably just as well.
Have yerselves a fine time,
Ros

Hey, as far as I can understand from the swiss german explanations (which is not much further than eis, zwoi, drew barrymore, fear, foof) flamenco is the hardest kind of flouncing you can do. (Or not do, in my case, so far.)
Other half will be home cooking the baked beans (PJ's not so great for veges, pineapple chunks notwithstanding) but we will be there early, in spanish terms.
I am still feeling a bit challenged by Bern nightlife, but my latest theory is that trapdoors are the key. That or weekends to London ...

And I thought this thread had something to do with some special calf liver from Bern.

Grr... I must be blind as I spent five minutes looking for you lot in there and the staff didn't have a bloody clue what I was on about, either.
Actually, I was only going to pop in to say hello as I've just got back from Germany and was a bit knackered for going drinking...
