City/Town: Zurich
Event Type: Drinks/Bar
Meeting Point: Kafischnaps, Kornhausstr. 57, 8037

To Americans and Concerned Non- Americans,

This will be the second meet-up group organized by Ron Paul supporters here in Zurich and you are invited to attend.
Have you heard of Ron Paul? He is a Representative from Texas, an obstetrician, a former Navy flight surgeon, and a long time Constitutional watchdog, who is making waves as the lone voice of reason in a field of pretenders running for President of the United States of America.

In the past 30 years, Ron Paul has voted “No” on the Iraq war and interventionist foreign policy, “No” on Federal Income Tax and the IRS, “No” on Big Government spending and waste.

In debate after debate, as the lone voice of sanity on Iraq and fiscal policy, the Constitutionalist Paul has attracted the interest of disaffected Republicans and Democrats, Independents, Libertarians and many young people who are drawn to his honesty. His daring to speak the truth in a political arena of perpetual spin has made his campaign a grassroots and netroots phenomenon. He has raised an astounding 5 million dollars solely from individual donors in the latest fiscal quarter, defying the media’s portrayal of him as “unlikely” and “a long shot”.

If you are intrigued also consider coming to our meetup.com event. It is this Monday, the 5th of November. We are the Zurich Ron Paul Meetup Group, follow the link for details:

We have 7 coming so far and there is plenty of room. Come to your meetup and help the Revolution!

Today is November 5th. This is a day that many Ron Paul Supporters have pledged to donate $100 to his campaign. With over 18,000 signed-up this will be the biggest donation day in grassroots history. Its now 7:00 AM in New York and already close to 500,000 has been taken in. If you are a Ron Paul Supporter now is the time to donate. Go to www.ronpaul2008.com to make your contribution. Imagine the media response if he raises over 5 million in one day. He will be unstoppable!

Re: The Zurich Ron Paul Stammtisch

Hey Claus,

Why not join our Meetup. Also if you are non-american you can still contribute to Ron Paul. This goes for all of you NARPS (Non-American Ron Paul Supporters) out there. Chipin.com is a great tool for this. There are a number of spontaneously formed fund raising oportunities. Check out ours for example:

http://peleforronpaul.chipin.com/hel...pport-ron-paul

This is totally legal by the way!

For other chipin.com fundraising oportunities.

He's got some great outside-the-box ideas, but I haven't decided to vote for him yet. It's interesting to hear people rally like that here.

If you have any interest it would be worth your time to come to our meetup. Last time we had a bunch of beers and a good time. We did some planning and such too. The next meetup is the 19th of this month. Check the top of this thread for our meetup homepage. Come on by.
