Hey Guys, if you've sure you're attending this game, could you please take you selves off the list for the Paradeplatz location? If we don't have enough players there, then I might need to cancel the game in advance so the non-locals don't need to make a trip here.
Cheers

By the same token, Farns, I'm afraid we've already reached our player limit (the 12 original signups and Mexpat+2).. but of course now there are a couple of free spots for the Schanzengrabenpromenade game.
Apologies for the complication, just trying to arrange this in a way that's fair, and will allow both games to go ahead.

| | | Re: Zurich Sunday Afternoon Five-a-Side Football II re_born - you're already signed up for the game at the Schanzengrabenpromenade, and we've reached the 15-player limit here - so even if you have managed to control the space-time continuum to such an extent that you can play in 2 places at once, best to stay signed up for the first game.
I'm closing signups for this game now, before it gets even more complicated - if anyone can't make it, please post here in the thread to let us know. Cheers.

The small pitch at the Ämtlerwiese can accommodate 7 v 7 tops - usually we do 3 teams of 5 and rotate, so that everyone gets a chance for a breather now and then.

Yo guys,
Just a quick thought. If it rains tomorrow or the concrete surface is not properly dry (very likely!), the Schanzengraben game will be off and you guys will move to grass. Surely you might want to open up the thread to maybes as it will be better to play with more players on grass. Also, it is also very likely that some of those who signed up and who are, dare I say, not man enough to play in rain will stay at home tomorrow leaving you with a huge grass pitch with huge goals and less that 15 players.
What do you think?

Hi there,
To me football is for everyone and there is plenty of space in the grass pitch, rain or no rain

What do you think? | | | | | Good point - I was just assuming that if the Schanzengrabenpromenade game is rained off, the players will come to the Ämtlerwiese and we'll have a giant game on the grass. Should be decent numbers in that case. | Quote: | | | | | Hi there,

Either way: for tomorrow, we can have a quick show of hands to see if we play on the small pitch or the grass. Forecast is looking chilly but dry.

Thanks to everyone that turned up today - really enjoyed the game (and the post-game cans - thanks for allowing immediate beer-gut replenishment, Mexpat). |
