I think it's a good idea to "show support" for an event thread by registering your intention to intend. People are like sheep, and some might assume that nobody is coming to a quiet thread. A thread with lots of people saying they will attend certainly makes an event look more exciting. On the same note, lots of notes of "I won't be able to make it" don't really add much value to an events thread either. Speaking of which, has the elusive Lob Rockster ever been spotted at an event? I know he was rolling out the excuses and promises for a while, but maybe he's hoping nobody notices anymore.

Bummer - we couldn't find the place. We ended up on the outside tables by the Movie bar.

Hi and belated thanks to the twelve-ish adventurous people who came on Friday night.

Actually, in evaluation terms, we didn't make much headway, as we stayed the City Café for a while (chic, white and mostly empty) before going to Reithalle again (much the same as last week).

I'm busy for the new few weeks so I' won't be organising anything until later in October.

Hopefully some of the people who have enjoyed Diem's events will step up to the plate and take over? Hint: If you (as in anyone) are going to help out, advertise the event in plenty of time, having the event sit on the calendar for just 2 days means many people might not notice it in time
