Does it go 'till 10pm these days? When I was in Bern years ago, the stalls would start packing up at 4pm.

But if it's going 'till later ... I would certainly like to be there

Hi there, I'm still on the maybe thing, altho I'm pretty sure I'll be there, just wondering, what is the plan of the night? are you going to be moving around a lot or, well, I don't know,,, what is the plan of the evening? Or isn't there one?
I don't care either way, just if I happen to get held up (= lost) if I know you are going to be moving in a certain direction, I'll still be able to find you all.

Drinking Glühwein and having a plan don't really go together in my book!
Joking aside, the general idea is to have a drink or three outside of Chez Edy, and then see what happens. (There will be plenty going on in and around various bars in town in the evening)
I can PM you my mobile number if you want, so you can call me to find out where we are if you are running late.

Most of the (onion and craft) stalls will close at around 18:00. The food and glühwein stalls usually stay open for longer. mmh, onion pie!

No new infant yet - may well be putting an appearance tomorrow (us, not the new baby)...

Absolutely heaving outside Chez edy, but almost dead 50 feet up the road. Made the mistake of taking Lottie in that crowd with the push and nearly didn't get out. No sign of anyone else though by 6.30 so we went for a Starbuck's.
No sign again 20 minutes later.
Went home.

Lucky for me that Blaze has a pair of sharp eyes.

Chez Edy was sardines packed so we decided to walk down to Arbegergasse for some gluhwine and while the rest proceed to Pickwick. I had to split and meet the missus for dinner and what a task it was, to look for a table for two in Bern town on Zibelemärit.

Thousand apologies to you guys for not being able to continue the drinking extravaganza at Mr. Pickwick.

No it wasn't. The kids were hammering away infront of the Stadtspolizei's eye. Those hammers are a manace and they should be banned.

and also I hate it when the kids picked up the confettis which were being thorwn. Some kids were seriously verbally abused for throwing those confettis at me.
