I'm a 25 year-old American recently moved to Biel/Bienne and looking to meet a few fellow expats. I've heard a few people around the city speaking English but I haven't seen any events on the Forum here. Anyone know where I could find events and/or meet some English-speaking Bielers?

No meet ups in Bienne as far as I know but I created about 6 months ago the "friends of Biel-Bienne", we meet once a months for an after work drink.

I'm very flexible this week since I'll will not start working until next week but after work in the future as well.

How about a group visit to Neuchatel for a change? There is a nice irish bar "Le Cerf' where the local expats meet.
And if you are prepared to travel a bit, why not sign up on events for the Romandie BBQ on 8th Sept up here in the Neuch mountains?

I haven't been before but it's just around the corner from us and some of our neighbours went last time and said it was brilliant.
It's annoying me at the moment though as the site is right on the bus route to school and the bus was delayed as they blocked the road for a bit so T was late for school. The site does look pretty good though.
