International Cooking Evening - Zürich

I am organizing a (private) cooking evening here in Zürich since end of 2006. It is about cooking together and having a nice evening.
For the November event I have invited a new colleague from Hong Kong to show us some secrets of Chinese cooking and when I found this forum I thought it would be very nice to bring together some more international people and recipes (currently it is mostly Germans + one Swiss, between 25 and 50 years old).

I usually send around a mail with the proposed dates every 4-5 weeks and those who have time can sign up. Anyone with a big enough kitchen (to host 4-6 people) is always needed but this is not a precondition ... anyone who likes good food is welcome to join.

Please send me a PN with your e-mail, then I can put you on the list for the next evening (probably January ... in December everybody is too busy from my experience).

Cheers
Gina

Hi Nina,

not sure whether we will get something organised in December as we just had our November "Event" last week and December is usually packed with Christmas parties.

Please send me your e-mail address, I will put you on the invite list for the next event.

Hi!

When is the next meeting?

My wife and I would love to join... and she is an expert in Chinese cuisine... (my German cooking cannot match it I have to admit).

Cheers,

Chris

Re: International Cooking Evening - Zürich

How about organising one for vegetarian dishes only.. that way vegetarians can teach and also learn some new dishes..

Re: International Cooking Evening - Zürich

@pickles: we might choose the motto "vegetarian" among other mottos now and then but the final choice depends in the end on the hosts decision.

Which means if you host one event and choose vegetarian as the motto, thats fine with us.
