Some pit! (yes I know, you are joking) will you be joining us to go to the Creux-du-Van on the Sunday? One of my favourite places in the world. Even better than the Gorges de l'Areuse- the Gorges de la Poetta Raisse (and is has a hidden bottle of absinthe near a fountain so you can try a bit! But it is hard to find).
If you click on the 'original thread' above, you will find info about local accommodation in case you want to stay over on Saturday night.

It was meant to be ironic
I looked at the pictures, it is amasing!
Of course, we will join for the Sunday trip! It is a great idea!

If you click on the 'original' thread there are lots of ideas for accommodation in the area. Plenty of space for tents, caravans or motorhome if required, with access to WCs and a kitchen.

Just to make sure EVERYONE has seen this, and a little reminder for those who are still undecided...

I did buy fish at 50% off for the BBQ but put it straight in the freezer! Not making that mistake again...

I have a family situation that unfortunately made me shift from a solid yes to a maybe, but will update my status as soon as I have more information, i.e. if I have to be out of the country or I can come. Sorry for the inconvenience in the planning!

Update: I am sorry to disappoint, as I was really looking forward to come, but although my mom is physically doing better, she (and my grandma) still need assistance, and most of all they are much happier and in a much better mood if I am with them over the weekend. So I have to bail this fun event to go down south instead.
I do hope we can plan something before the end of the year, I'd love to come out there! I hope you all enjoy - and special thanks to Odile and Kamarate for hosting and organizing

Aghh what a shame- but of course your mum and granma have to come first. Maybe you will be able to join us for the Christmas party early December. Take care - and we will meet soon, somehow.

Would be happy to take the train with you... obviously can't offer a lift! I would also be keen on scrounging a lift if anyone's offering. |

Would be grateful if the 'maybes' could decide by Wednesday. But as people are bringing food and drink - it is not a prob if a few decide to come last minute- plenty of space by any weather.
Would be grateful too to know who is bringing a salad or a pud/dessert- so I can fill in the gaps. Will make roast potatoes/veg.

I am going from a "no" to a "maybe"... I already have something on the 8th but it looks like it might be cancelled. It is likely to be a last minute thing though... hope this is OK.
