Coco, I'm gonna walk by there later today on my way to the post office and pick up a menu to see what kind of prices they have for lunch. I will update the thread accordingly.

Hi all, I popped in the restaurant yesterday, the menu is varied, from mezze to bigger main dishes. The prices ranged from CHF 7 (cheapest mezze, some side dishes) to CHF 38 (some elaborate meat dish with several types of meats). Most stuff was in the range of CHF 15 - CHF 25.
They didn't have a menu flyer, so I could not take one to scan and post here, but I hope this info is somewhat helpful.
Dear ladies, thank you so much for a very nice lunch! Today, I've learned a thing or two about great parenting skills and teenage kids (gasp!) which may or may not prove useful to me in the future
By the way, you moms are my heros - an obnoxious client is nothing compared to a teenager, and I'm really not sure I would have the patience to deal with 1% of the stuff you all do. Perhaps it's possible (hopefully) to grow and learn as you go?
Anyway, thanks so much again for the excellent company and a very tasty meal!

Big thank you to BokerTov for yet another splendid lunch, good food and great company, plus I walked away with a 10 chuffers tip!!
The truth about the tip - somehow we ended up with an overpayment, and as our waitress was not in the running for Server of the Year, we decided that I would pocket the extra and will put that in the pot for payment next time.
Teenagers - can't live with them, can't shoot them.... all you need to know about them is here, as we discussed

Please send me a reminder or an invitation when you held such events again... Especially at places like "Le Cedre" :-)
Hi newinhere, you're welcome to join us anytime! Keep an eye on the Social Calendar for the "A Taste of..." lunch series. We usually go about twice a month, always pick a different place. Next one will likely be sometimes early October - when the event is on the calendar, you can click on the thread and subscribe, it's always nice to have new participants. Looking forward to seeing you there!
By the way, I take this chance to post just a general reminder to everyone for the future: if you subscribe "yes", it is extremely rude and bad mannered to not show up without having emailed or PMd the organizer. Just saying...you know who you are.

ladies - I had a great time. it was very nice meeting you Hobs! you see how subtly I obliged you to come next time, as well, by letting you walk out with our communal 10 CHFs?
I hope it doesn't sound like we talked only about eye-rolling teenage (and not) sons, we don't want to scare the gentlemen off.
we also had interesting conversations about fattening oriental pastry, religious excesses and the blessings of volunteer work.
the food was fantastic, the harmless-looking mezzehs turned out to be real happiness (and calory) bombs.
oh, and I wonder how the lebanese restaurant put me off for ever from plastic surgery and its devastating effects??
