This is a casuals game, where the winning is more important than the ...No! Wait! We're in it for fun. All abilities, ages, shoe brands welcome. New players especially welcome! And it's free!

It's not far from Paradeplatz, on a school playground along the canalbank Schanzengraben. Hard rubberized surface, so regular sports / running shoes without studs etc. will be fine. There's a water fountain a few metres away but sadly no ammenities for changing, showering, weeing etc

As the weather is getting more damp, please check this thread nearer the day in case we're rained-off.

Beers and fries usually afterwards at Paddy Reilly's...

If you have a football, please bring it along.

We very often have a lot more people turning up than RSVP and it would be great if you are interested in playing if you could say you'll be there.

Also! Please be punctual. 13.00 means a couple of minutes either side, not 20 minutes late. This disrupts the game and team balance and much as shaking hands and 'How do you do / what's your name again?' is nice, we lose a lot of time. As regulars will have noticed, we're often competing for the space with others and if we don't start on time we'll not maximise our opportunity for a free game and get impatient snarls from the Yoof on the wings...

Don't mean to get 'Swiss' on your asses, but I think it'd be great if we kept it tight. Also Newbies to our little field of dreams often arrive early and need assurance they're in the right place; if no-one's there on time they may walk away and that would be sad

Just to check, it is 12 or 1? Calender says 12 but text says 1?

So the doctor told me my rib is not broken, I will then come to play on Sunday, we'll be 8 !!

However, he also told me I shouldn't play goalie ... that renders me somewhat useless then

Yes, many late nights as allways, but the knocks are not from the girls, they usually caress you . But I am stepped over now and then on the packed clubs.

This was an elbow that hit my rib while playing hockey... But fortunately it was not broken.
