Get Together Facebook Event

I have to protest at going to the outback lodge, it is not for Australians, see various threads about Australia day for more details. Another maybe is Noon Resturant between the Haupbarnhof and Stadelhofen, it is Lebanese and the food (banquet style) there was great, also for vegos, when we went for a chistmas dinner a couple of years ago. I rang them last week about this last week but have not heard back, I will follow it up. A banquet style anywhere does solve a lot of the bill problems with this type of event and this is about sharing as much as anything else.

Hi everyone, due to popular demand the event has been moved one day ahead to thursday. I hope this still suits those that have said yes to the event. Also, if you are going, please respond to this event by monday the 22nd so that I can book in advance for a group this size. And dont forget to spread the word and invite all your aussie friends in CH

Hehe Chrisso, Labanese would nearly be appropriate. What do people think? (and is there even a Lebanese restaurant in Zurich? I know of a few Kebab joints, but not a restaurant)

Another place that has been thrown into the mix is the Fork and Bottle. If they are willing to do an evening food service it might be a cosy place to have our event

Hi everyone. I've booked the group in for 18:30 - 20:30 at Zeughauskeller in Zurich city. Unfortunately they get a lot of bookings so they stack their reservations. So What we can do is continue after eating at a nearby bar for some drinks for those who are interested. I have booked 14 spots. I am looking forward to meeting the new faces.

Any chance of joining the team as a late starter? Regards Phil

yeah we had a cancellation today so please come along perhaps if you are on facebook, add yourself to the facebook event so that you get the latest info and if anyone posts pics you'll be able to see them.

If there any other late joiners please let me know. I might be able to add a couple of people if necessary.
