Ethiopian food is one of my favorites, let's see how they make it at this place - always good to try out new restaurants.

I quite like that they say what is "scharf" (spicy hot), although I realize that what I consider spicy is by most people considered mild and flavorful

The pics on the website already look better than the place which closed down recently. Looking forward to this event.

This sounds good. A friend and I attempted to try Ethiopian in New York once but didn't write down the address (just the street) and so could not find the restaurant.

Unfortunatley I will be working so can't make it. En guete everybody! Have fun

A bit of an adventure...we showed up, and the restaurant was closed. No warning on the website, no warning at the door of the place. Weird.

Oh well, thanks to the excellent suggestion of Prof. Taratonga, we had a very nice Vietnamese lunch.

I apologize for the inconvenience, but at the end the food and the company were excellent!

Let me say that I really enjoyed going to lunch with you all on Fridays. This was my last lunch before I go, but I really hope that you will continue to enjoy each others' company and try out new restaurants in Zurich!

I tried a beef curry with berber sauce and it was really good. Also for starter, Sembucha with chicken fillings was really LECKER.

The food is good but the company is excellent! I had duck with rice.. NOM.

Sad to think this was our last Taste of... Lunch with our fabulous friend BokerTov. We did finish on a high note, though, despite the bizarre behaviour of the Ethiopian restaurant - the Vietnamese place was a gem, thank you Prof Taratonga, am I correct that it was Vietnam Restaurant La, Wasserschöpfi 2 8055 Zürich? Just so I can make a note of it for another time . Oh yes and I quickly surrounded a plate of beef in a spicy Szechuan sauce, yumyumyumyum.

Good food, good company, good times, thank you for organising, BokerTov. Now, who will take on her mantle? We can't let such a fun event cease.............

Yes, the LA is nice. The plate in the pictures costs CHF 17.70 for lunch.

Company? Four charming good looking ladys and me, the freak. Excellent.
