I know that Lady Hamilton's (above Nelson's Pub) in Zurich will be showing it and there should be a pretty good crowd as the local football team (Zurich Renegades) are having their Superbowl party there.
Hooters near Helvetiaplatz will also likely be showing it.
Colts, Now Ravens since 1998: Due to fight victory song and Edgar Alan Poe's poem The Raven. Name was changed to Baltimore Raven's
Looks like the bets are on the Ravens though.
Niners, the team I am picking.
Not exactly. Tallyhatsmile makes it sound as if the Baltimore Colts changed their name to the Baltimore Ravens in 1996. Actually, in 1984 the Baltimore Colts moved to Indianapolis to become the Indianapolis Colts and for many years Baltimore had no NFL team. in 1996, Baltlmore successfully managed to get the Cleveland Browns to move to their city with the promise of a new stadium. Cleveland made enough of a stink to get the NFL to agree to put a new expansion team in their city where it would retain the original name and records of the Cleveland Browns. The new Browns began playing in 1999. Baltimore football fans would prefer that their team be named the "Colts", but since that is not possible, the Browns were renamed the "Ravens" in honour of Edgar Allen Poe's famous poem, "The Raven". Poe died in Baltimore and is buried in that city.
Officially, the Ravens are an expansion team that began in 1998, but as the Cleveland Browns they trace their roots back to 1946 and the All-America Football Conference. The team they will play tomorrow in the Super Bowl, the San Francisco 49ers also began in the AAFC. This will be the first time two former AAFC teams have played for the NFL championship.
