Just had a quick look at the website - www.ey-site.ch - and it seems the best way to get there is to get the no. 3 tram to Fellenbergstrasse and walk from there, is this right?
I'll grab the 7pm train from Baar so should be there around 8 depending on trams. Catch you later
It is great to get so many people together on so a short notice! This will be a fun evening.
I will be on the train now and will call the place between 18.00 and 18.30... it is ok to have some last minute decisions, but would be cool if I know approximately how many people will come till then....
I called them to reserve the tables, but usually they do not take any reservations. Since it is Monday and I know that the place is never full on Mondays I talked the manager to reserve us three adjectant tables as we would bring him enough revenue as a group
I am afraid that I do not manage to be the first one there. I guess I will be a couple of minutes late as I have to pick up my wife by car... so if you come first, just go to the counter and say that you are from "the group with the three tables". I told the staff that you most probably cannot speak German, so it should work out...

Yeah, me too. I was just at home ready to go, glueing-on my Paul Newman tash, and I got waylaid by a phone call. I hope it was a good night. Any comments on the venue ?
The Ey Bar is an excellent place and they do good food - the Ey Burger being particularly decent.
In the summer, the terrace is available - so the restaurant area grows and has a nice atmosphere.
There is a pool club down there on certain nights which congests the tables a little.
I've not seen anyone fall off the chairs "in the wall" yet. Any advances on that?
And pitchers of beer as you well know are reasonably-priced. The short cut from there to the tram is turn right out of the place, turn right down the first street and there is a cut-through which comes out by the bus stop for the 67 (so opposite the tram stop).
