This is a meeting open for all tennis players regardless of their level. Let's see us on Saturday and play.

The goal is to find other suitable players to get the winter tennis started.

OK the tennis court is reserved in the Tennis Halle Lenng for this saturday at 6pm, please be there on time maybe at 5:45 so we can get together get to know each other a little and then play for 1 hour.

I am sure if many of us come we could be able to find a suitable partner for the rest of the season.

THE COURT AT 6PM IS BUSY, THEY JUST CALLED ME AND ASKED ME TO CHANGE THE RESERVATION FOR 7PM

I hope this is not a problem for danny, dand and jacek that had already confirmed it for 6pm.

This sounds great! It's good that lots more people are interested in playnig. The only problem is that I'm skiing this weekend over in Klosters.

I played tennis on Monday at a club over in Stettbach in Dubendorf, which wasn't too expensive (CHF60 for 1 hour), and was really easy to get to - it's about 4 minutes away from the HB on the S3 train.

I'd still be really keen to play - weekends are just a bit busy at the moment. If anyone feels like a game some time next week or the week after, give me a shout...

5 -6 works better for me than 7-8. Tentative plans so 50% chance I make it.

Come anyway, to meet the players even if you don't stay the full hour.

Remember that the main goal of the event is to get us to meet and maybe find suitable partners to kick start regular tennis games.

I am calling this event off as I would not be able to come this saturday and the same goes for kmt and ChrisNor.

The event will take place again on the 16th Feb....

We are almost 4 now,

I did the reservation and hopefully others will join during the rest of the week.

This meetings are organised to get in contact with other tennis players in the forum that want to find partners.

Once someone got a partner ( or a 3 for a doubles match ) that matches his/her level and expectations, then they can set up other times/days.

For example I am open to play on monday, tuesday or wednesday evenings, and early on weekends ( for example from 12:00 to 18:00 )

We set up this time because some members expressed they'd like to have the saturday free to do their shopping and then at 7pm is a convenient hour.

If the participants for this saturday can come early we can move the metting for 17:00 I have no problem with that.

Makes sense. Please do not try to change this saturday's time on my behalf as i cannot make it, I was asking in general for future weeks.

As some have asked me how do we recognise each other.

It'd be best if you can come a little earlier.

so If we can meet at the door at 6:50 for example, then we'd have time to go in all together.

Otherwise, the receptionist, speaks english and she could tell you in which court we are.

Try to arrive before 7pm anyway.

We are 2 ! So we can have a singles match..

Calling more players for the 6th March !

Please try to arrive a little earlier, there is a tournament today at Lengg and so maybe the courts there would be still in use by 18:00h

So we'd have to use the courts at the TC Zollikon, that belongs to the same Tennis Center but is some 400 mts away.

So it woul be best if we can meet at 5:45 and then be able to get to the courts in Lengg or Zollikon on time.
