If you can't make it at 6, just show up when you can... We'll most likely be there for a while (could talk about bike stuff all night!).

It is still ski season??????? | | | | | I hope this doesn't mean that you've been ignoring the nice weather the past two weekends, and have missed the chance to get some good early-season riding in? I've been exploring new parts of the country by bike which are not too high up, and so were pretty warm. However, I can't wait until the real Spring to head into the mountains again Until then, I'll have to do more talking than riding - I'll see whether I can make it up from Lausanne.
Chris.

Oh yes - I personally have definitely enjoyed the recent nice, warm weather for biking. Ya gotta love living in a place where you can bike comfortably on Saturday and ski on Sunday (or vv)
Still it's a bit dark on the weeknights though, but only for a few more weeks...
Hope you can make it ChrisW!

How do you go for a ride when there is no way of getting up the hill??? |

Hillseeker - I hope that the restaurant that you chose is at the bottom of a valley, otherwise Woodsie might not be able to get there .

Not sure if pink is really a climbing colour though!!!
God forbid the lifts don't let him take his bike on!!!

But, at least I now have a bike that weighs less than my beer gut. |

I went by the restaurant (Nooba) this afternoon to see what it's like (and yes, actually you do have to head uphill from Zurich HB to get there! ). Luckily it's easy to find - right off Tram 11. The "bar" table seemed good since then we will be able to move around and mingle, or can sit on the stools around the table.
Looks like they have some yummy hand-made noodles... and sake (surely beer too, I forgot to notice)..... and we can probably get them to add some extra fat and sugar just for you, Woodsie |

Thanks for the invite, unfortunately I work in Montreux and making it to Zuerich and back during the week is a bit difficult. If a weekend ride gets organized for when the weather turns better, lemme know!

It's a good idea, and we are trying to organize things so we can both come.
Cheers and hope to catch up with all.

Today's the day! Are any of you 'maybes' going to become 'yesses'?

I just now reserved BOTH bar tables for us tonight, so now there's room for you "Maybes"... So hope you can make it! (don't make me look bad with lots of empty spaces )

I changed our maybe to yes this morning so we will be there, although don't really know Zürich all that well so maybe late or lost with my keen sense of southern hemisphere direction. I can only believe people when they give me directions, hence why i ride with a backpack full of maps!!

Seems like we should have a reasonable turn out tonight... Whats even better though is the degree of interest there seems to be with all the maybes, and can't make it this time but would love to next time!!!
Roll on some EF rides this season! | |
