"Stranger In A Strange Land" can be downloaded as a free ebook from http://ebookhood.com/664-stranger-in-a-strange-land. They have various formats here. Note: I'm not endorsing this site, since I found it via google and I've never used it before.

I don't know if this is a legitimate service or not, but a few places have this book for download.

Is Switzerland in the Life+50 or Life+70 copyright-term zone? (or otherwise)

I've got my own copy of Kim but I will supplement re-reading of my favourite passages with the downloadable audiobook from the link you posted. Thanks.

Typically I forgot my book in a hotel in the beginning of the week - with half the the book to read still....Didn't look forward to buy a new copy just to find out how it all ends...even if I kind of already had a glance at the end...
