| | | Ski/Snowboard Party
Hey,
I know it is still a bit too early to rise up and shout it out loud for a snow party but.. I'd like to know if there are any ski/snowboard freaks in the forum just like me?
I have been snowboarding for 4-5 years and I love it!! It'd be great if we could all get together in a bus or train or something and hit the road in winter for ski/snowboard partying, drinking..
anyway, I just wanted to to see the pottential for such event.
Thanks

Thats great to see some attention to my idea!! But I am pretty sure that this forum had a couple of snow events last winter. Whoever organized it, I would love to get together and set up a plan.. I have been in ZH only since July so I am quite inexperienced with best places places for a snow party but I am thinking off somewhere we can stay over the weekend and drink and ride like crazy. !!

I'd be keen. I'm a boarder. I just got back from an ace weekend in Zermatt. The snow and the weather on Sunday were awesome! Proof attached! |

poof attached indeed
I've only seriously injured myself snowboarding so I'll lay claim to that. Trains are uncool though (except the S2 taking me home of course )

count me in, can ski but want to learn how to board this year. pic of myself (right) and friends at Arosa, taken yesterday outside the humor festival tent, as you can see the weather is perfect.

Heya
If there is one happening in February I am keen to join, need to learn how to ski and/or board. And always best to do with no inhibitions about falling over so that, LOL where the drinking comes in handy...
He he should be funny...
Enjoy

I don't know about skiing but what you need to learn to snowboard is lots of padding. I recommend putting a cushion down the back of your snowboard trousers. Remember "Speed is your friend"!

Heya
Considering the size of me the idea of padding seems like a damn good idea!! LOL
So are there any dates in mind yet?
Enjoy

Hey ya,
I have been snowboarding for the last 2 yrs.....here in CH I have been mostly riding in Arosa, you might have seen the coverage on T.V of the snowboarding champs which are being held there this weekend. Its a pretty cool place, you definitely will be able to do some solid drinking there. The train takes you there from Zurich HB.

Solid drinking in Arosa? Are you sure? I thought there were only about two pubs there!
Apparently the snow is due to arrive in the next week.
