I nearly had a heart attack the amount of adrenaline pumping through me after that ride and I love scary, thrill seeking rides.
Still not sure if I'll be brave enough to face it again!!! You must have balls of steel | |

Hi there, nope, not at all, any I might have had before were left behind on the Highway!!
Truly,,, driving on there used up every drop of adrenaline, I was following a maniac madwoman at the time and didn't want to lose her, (well, me get lost, might be closer to the truth).
I felt like I was in a James Bond movie, weaving in and out of the traffic at such speed (I have never in my life driven that fast!).
I mean, I was weaving/maneuvering/dodging,belting (you name it, I was ing-ing it) along at 155/160 kmh and that
still wasn't fast enough for crying out loud!!!!
The trouble is you see, I got the old "what ifs??? " !!!
"What if I didn't tighten the wheel nuts good enough?" "what if I clip that partition when I am having to overtake to keep up with that crazy woman?" (or more likely, someone clips
me on overtaking, cos I am driving so
slowly!!!) "what if we have an accident at this speed!!!!!!?"
Imagining too, presuming I survived it at all, what I was going to say to the Parents of my daughters' friend, if I got her killed?!!!!!!
Not least, hoping I had worn decent knickers (not that it would matter after all, I
know what they would be like in the event), in case of said accident (it's a worry! y'know

).
So, when we actually got there all in one piece, I kind of came to the conclusion that, if I survived
that, then I can survive anything!!!
Ros
P.S. At the start, driving so fast I felt really quite naughty! Going home on the other hand was an absolute breeze!!!

, apart from losing my parking coin, but that's another story.......
