My neighbours of English speaking background as well as me the Swiss , would like to start a English speaking mum and kids meeting.

Between us we know of several english speaking mums with children living in the region and would like to bring them together in this social event,hoping to start something that might become a more regular occasion afterwards.

The garden of our house is large enough to host this event,and it's equipped with necessities such as sandpit,swings,slides and the like,plus benches and tables.

We will provide coffee and cold drinks and some baked goodies and if someone would like to bring along a cake or cookies,it will be much appreciated.

Details of the adress,contact data and how to find us,will be PM'ed to the subscribed participants.

I hope to see someof you very soon!

so far we got four mums and a bunch of kids ( who received an email directly) coming to this event.

we're now up to 8 ( plus a gaggle of kids) !!

You mustn't be a mum to take part but if you live in the region of Biel/Solothurn/Seeland in general and want to meet other native english speakers,then this is the place to do so

Feedback from everyone was very positive, so a next one is defo on the cards, we are discussing if with hubbies/partners or just us girls again

.......and your boy has got a fan here so we need ot make a playdate even sooner than that

hey, yeah sure would be great to meet sooner, i am on holiday from work until monday then i am off wed 21st if that works for you??

yeah, with partners would be good, if there are some swiss under them as my partner doesn't speak much english....

Hi,

I was just wondering if you managed to start up any regular group meetings. I live in Solothurn and have been looking for a playgroup for myself and my two year old nearer to us than Bern.
Sounds like you had a great day, I'm sorry I was not in Switzerland at that time. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
