If anyone fancies a beer or three while listening to Irish music, a band from Dublin called The Beer Mats are coming out this weekend and will be playing at McGuinness's Irish Pub, 33 Elisabetenstr. (Tram line 2 Kunstmuseum - I think - or just up from Bankvarein stop for other lines) They're supposed to be a good band, and will be playing from about 9.30/10pm.

I'm out there both Friday and Saturday, if anyone feels like a couple of drinks, I'll be the Aussie girl at the bar drinking VB with her Guinness drinking husband. If you can't find me, the bar owner, Brendan (who is pretty easy to spot) can always point me out.
