Wow ... this is a better response than expected. Looking forward to seeing you all there
It would help if you could update your RSVP if you're not coming. We will ask for a good sized table at the place.
Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow.

Mmm your upcoming books list looks really interesting with the possible exception of: Flying with wings of wax by Eveline Hasler. “A woman in 19th century Switzerland who is allowed to train as a lawyer but in the end is not allowed to work in her profession and emigrates to America…”. Sounds like there's not much more to tell....
Anyhow event sounds good but unfortunately can't make it this week as can barely get back for the Talacker.
How are the books for discussion allocated week-on-week ?

Hi Dave,
Evelyn Hassler is not in the upcoming books list, but on the list of books up for nomination.
The bookclub meets every month. Anyone can nominate a book and everyone gets to support it. Books with a decent number of support (or pitched well) gets picked. This is done at the meetings.

Great stuff. Outside of a dog, a book is man's best friend.Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

There's no need to register. If you'd like to, you could send me your e-mail by PM and I'll add it to our notifications list so you'll receive any change notification - like if we decide to change the venue.
But it will be also updated on the site, so if you keep an eye on it, it should be fine.
See you in September and have a great holiday! |

That's cause she is so popular.
I was thinking that this book club thing might be good for me too, cause I like to read and stuff.
Will look into it when I get back from holidays |

Awww .. Tash. I don't mind if you want to claim responsibility for bombarding my inbox to boost my popularity ratings
See you at the bookclub when you get back. The list of books are on there for up to November (True History of the Kelly Gang) to help you plan your holiday reading list |

No registerations required. Just turn up and look for the group of people with all the same books on the table. This month's book is Carpentaria and it's a thick greenish book. If you'd like my number, send me a pm.
Alternatively, if you wanted to, send me a pm with your e-mail address and we'll put you on our update list. This is more in case there are any last minute changes (which there shouldn't be). The website above does get updated, but in case you'd want the extra security, I could add you to the list. It also means you'll probably get some admin type e-mails from the group from time to time.
Cheers,
Nanda.

Great Just come to our next bookclub meet:
What: The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger.
When: September 23, 19:30 @ Zentrum Karl der Grosse
But you don't have to have read the book to check us out. Again, the details and updates can be found on this link.

Hi JLou,
I'm not quite sure what you're trying to access here but I put the details of my bookclub on this site just for notification. We organise it ourselves.
For the bookclub, it's easy - just turn up It would be good if you get a chance to read the book, if not, just come by to our next meeting and say hi.
For details of the bookclub - please click on my previous post where I've given the link (it's in blue) to the bookclub details online. But even if you don't, the details of the next meeting - the book, location, time and venue have been given. So just come along.
Cheers,
Nanda.

Hi Nanda,
Sorry. I thought a PM was another way of communicating-as you replied to a previous poster-"There's no need to register. If you'd like to, you could send me your e-mail by PM and I'll add it to our notifications list so you'll receive any change notification - like if we decide to change the venue."
Thanks
