Saved For Details...Moving days because I can....
official meeting place is on Forchstrasse at the stop for the Forchbahn called Zollikerberg. Go up Forchstrasse to the Shell station, there at the stoplight take a left. There is a UBS with a small parking lot behind it. This is the meeting point.
Please note it will probably take about 20 minutes or longer to get there from Zurich city.

How about from Zolikerberg Drop down to Maur, Up to Forch, Down to Meilen, Up to Pfanensteil, Down to Egg (or Oetwil am see), Up to Pfanensteil, Then Nicks backroads way up towards Forch and down to Erlenbach via the 85km/h hill and the cobblestones, taking us back into Zurich and Nooba.
Should put us around the 1000m of climbing mark (maybe a little more if we put in some twists and turns on the way). |

The footpath/cyclelane and part of the main road are closed due to pipe laying. The upward lane is very narrow so be carefull of cars overtaking as you cycle up the hill.
When we are on the ride, please be aware as we come to junctions, the roads may be relaitivly quiet but not closed. Slow down, stop and look before crossing any traffic.

Glad you moved this to Wednesday - It is our one-day break between visitors!
Plus sounds like you've got a nice route planned -- 1,000m of climbing? I'm there! (hopefully) Haven't biked in over a week, so looking forward to it.

Can someone tell me where is Forchstrasse if I am riding from Bellevue in Zurich. Can I stay on the seestrasse and meet you? Thanks

Mike | | | | | Go past Stadelhofen, and take the road uphill. Its where the tram 11, 15 and S18 go up. At Kreuzplatz go straight ahead (be carefull, there is a street that veers to the right here, but you need to go straight ahead). Keep following the Tram 11 and S18 lines. Eventually you will come to the point where Tram 11 turns, this is called Rehalp. Keep going uphill past the roadworks on the right hand side of the street, eventually you will come to a set of traffic lights. Go straight through these ones and take a left at the second set.

Have fun out there tonight! I just noticed that all three EF road cycling groups (Basel, Lausanne, and Zurich) are all heading out tonight. It looks like great weather for all of us, so have a good ride!
BTW, I noticed that the threads for the Basel and Lausanne rides always have the city in the thread title. Maybe you guys could do that with the Zurich one in the future, too, so that it's a little clearer for people. Thanks.

Counting the 30 minutes from Zürich city to that point and having to work today at least until 5:30 pm and come to the city by train, I think It would be very improbable that I can get there on time ( 18:30 ). I'll try but in case I can't I wish you a good ride.
