There's been a lot of interest in the meetups for German conversation recently, I missed the last one as I didn't recognise anyone there. So, here's an event to match with the get-together!
Edit: I'm confused about the timezone settings on here, so to avoid people turning up an hour early, whatever time the event header line says,
it starts at 18:30 Zürich time. We'll be inside or outside, depending on the weather, of if people have a preference please post here.
The aim of the meetup is for all of us struggling to learn the language to get together and practise our german on each other, hopefully learn new vocabulary and correct some of our mistakes by hearing other speakers - in a non-judgemental environment
We just chat about whatever interests us, or we can talk about something in the news, or something that happened recently.
It's not really suited for total beginners though, you really need to be able to string sentences together so that we can actually have a kind of conversation, with all the language benefits that brings. The last one I attended had a pretty large group.
So to ensure we find each other
I will place an orange on the table, I doubt there will be any other randon Mövenpick customers accompanying their coffee with fresh fruit.
