Going to get in one last trip to my favorite place in Switzerland. Interlaken area! Going to be camping along the river by night, and getting in some last minute outdoor fun before the cold takes full effect.
The Interlaken area is actually considered the outdoor haven of Switzerland. So much to do including hiking, waterfalls, canoeing, kayaking, bike riding, paragliding, and more.
The plan is to head up friday and camp for 2 nights. Obviously, people can come the next day if desired. The campground is great. Common area and kitchen. (No need to bring pots and pans. Dishes, can be reserved with a deposit.) Also it's very close to one of the 2 train stations.
Don't do the camping thing??? That's fine!
The campground also has hostel beds available in 4 bed dorms. Incredibly nice, comfortable, and clean. Best part is, you can join in on the fun camping at night (BBQ , etc.), and retire to a real bed after.
RSVPs close on September 8 in order to make reservations. Dorm beds are limited, first come first serve. If you interested, respond with an email address so we can figure it all out.
