Group Road Bike Ride from Oerlikon

In an effort to keep myself in shape through the winter, I'm going to organize weekly rides. The winter last year wasn't so bad, so I thought this winter I will try to ride once per week. Also, please let me know if you prefer sunday or saturday morning.

I'm happy to participate if it is a little later.

Friday nights are allways very busy and I'll not be able to get up so early for a ride.

I will like to join but guess 10:30 might be a more reasonable start time for me. (Thanks for the organising effort, I was yearning to bike as well and was looking for partners.)

btw, since even though I have been here six years, I am pretty clueless about how to get anywhere not by the Zurisee or in the Zuri Oberland, can someone perhaps give me brief directions on how to get to Oerlikon from Zuri Center. And also how long it might take.

If I don't come this week I will definitely come next week or the week after.

You are scaring me, I am not sure my fitness level is such that I can do that. Albis is not an easy climb.

I've never did the Albispass, I was thinking on going around it, but we could attempt it if you wish, then instead of Hirzel we could go there directly.

I really like the climb from the Thalwil side, um, I will get back to you, I am still debating what I am doing tomorrow. Still have an inkling go to the Walensee area but will check the weather report in the morning. What time were you planning?

Actually if anyone is interested, I am thinking of kicking out of work early and doing a little ride in the Zuri Oberland, starting at 5 o'clock from Tiefenbrunnen station. if interested pm me.

I would follow this route to get from Central to Oerlikon:

I'd come but I'm allergic to hills.

I'll be trying to make it round the Zürisee instead, with a stop-off in Rapperswil for lunch.

Last time I tried going around zurichsee the headwinds on the return side got the better of me (harder than the hills!). Have a good ride!

Sorry, the after the ride on friday with dakman I went to the Hallenstadion to watch Ana Ivanovic play and the directly to a Friday party that was a bit long

I woke up at 11 am, so I am sorry if you had to wait for me.

I'll go for a ride to ZH/Kilchberg/Thalwil/Silhwald later on if somebody want to join.
