I would like to organise an event for the 24th of November which is Onion Market day in Bern. Idea is meet up at the Bahnhof, however there are 2 possible times - the best time to go is very early in the morning, around 4am, however it is Monday and it is highly unlikely that everyone can take the day off.
So are there any takers for 5pm? We can then browse through the market and hit the glühwein stands as we go.

This sounds very interesting - but according to the Bern tourism website, the event is actually on Monday 24, not 25, November.
Can you double-check for us please?

I used to really enjoy this day when I worked in Bern. If anyone is interested in going in the morning I'd be up for it. (Not at 4 though) We could always hook up with those coming later. Beware the blow up hammers!

I went just after midday a couple of years ago and while it was very busy, most/all the antics happened in the morning so I felt like I'd missed out.
So get there early.

Usually I head into town around 5 because the atmosphere is wonderful, hard to describe really. I have put up an events thing, regarding the time, I am more than happy to start early, and pick up people later during the day.
