It's a bit tougher for us in Zürich to get there so early Starbug. I could see myself getting into Bern between 8 and 9.

Bump - I'm pushing this up the list, so that anyone wanting to reply finds it more easily. Let's hope the weather is decent for the event...

If anyone is still around a 18.00, then we can just continue on at the märit...it doesn't actually finish up until 7 or 8.
What shall we do about setting the time?

Wow, this would be my first event. I have been watching the Livers and Lovers info for a few months now hoping to see an event that my family could attend (since babysitters cost too much). I am already going to be there so this is perfect. I am so excited. Unfortunatley im not much of an early riser. I guess ill have to wait and see what you all descide on the time.
I look forward to meeting you all!!!

I've gone to the Zibelemarit in Bern about 5 years ago, I went by myself and this year I'd love to meet up with some people. Whoever is going, just let me know the time and I'll meet you there. I'm just in Goldau for a month until Dec 15th. Maybe I can swap numbers with someone to make sure we meet up? Cheers

I'll still be giving it a miss I'm afraid, as, by the time I get home, have a shower, change and generally make myself devastatingly ' byootiful', then head off to the train station, it's already going to around eight by the time I get to Bern.
Then factor in the chances of me finding you all in a reasonable length of time (I don't rate them very highly to be honest, I'm notorious for getting *waylayed*!!) I doubt it would be worth it, as you and others will already be getting ready to go home by then...
Besides, I spend that whole day looking after 18 month old twin boys and their little baby sister nearly nine months old and have noticed the most disturbing phenomena,,,, after getting home, having a bite to eat, making sure all is right in the world with my babies , I find that by around nine-o-clock, my eyes, no longer want to stay open
Still, there will be another time I'm sure, have a good time everyone,
Ros

Fair enough, can relate to that. Another time, and maybe not one with a group. |

Hi Christa, PM is private message - you can send a private message to the user...\
Also, best to take your email address off the forum (can you edit your post?) - because otherwise you will get a *lot* of spam...

Oh, Oldhand, thanks, please PM me, that'd be great.
Early morning start will be fine - bubs had me out of bed at 4:45am this morning... - usually we are at least awake by 5:30 and the older ones leave for school by 7am...
Am assuming something like 8-8:15 at Zurich HB.
First or Second class ticket ? - I'll probably try to pre-purchase...
I notice the InterCity takes just over an hour...
The consulate opens between 9:30and 12:30 so I'd love to meet you on the train, then head off to do what I need to do and maybe catch people up later in the day...depends if I have to be back in Zurich at 5:30 to get my kids from school too...

I will certainly be joining, shall I meet you all in Bern at the Treffpunkt (main hall at the railway station)? I don't know when the Zürich trains come in, so if I'm there around 10am, is that alright? I can also pm one of you my mobile number. Am really looking forward to meeting people from Zürich!
