So everyone else is doing the fambly christmas thing then... for anyone not wanting to sign up and in doing so confess to being a Billy No-Mates, I'll still be going along for some food and sociable drinks regardless |

I am coming over to Zurich in a couple of weeks. I haven't got all my plans sorted yet. I hope to meet up with EF members while I am there. I hope that more will be able to turn up.

Feck. Just spoke to the nice people at Les Halles, and they are apparently closed this year on 25 & 26th December.
Looks like I'll have to do some homework and find somewhere else open to go for this (Rote Fabrik maybe...?) Suggestions welcome by PM, I'll update here when I've found somewhere....

...as if by Magic
Ziegel-oh-Lac (the restaurant at Rote Fabrik) is open the 24th & 26th....might need to dig a little deeper to find somewhere for The Day Itself but if we can't then this should be a great backup plan for some Boxing Day celebrations. |

Anyone willing to give up their apartment for the day?
Everyone could bring food/drink and we could have a slap up feast whilst getting sloshed in front of the Queen's speech!

Still no venue for Xmas day - also to warn off any family oriented thinkers, this is more aimed at going for some food and beers with people who aren't doing the family thing this Christmas so it might not be a good fit for everyone.
Brett is that you offering up your flat? |

OK, venue has now officially been changed - Brett yes you can trust me with your keys but maybe would be better to wait until you're out of work to get a crowd round? We can always sort that out in the week I suppose.
I guess if anyone wants directions to Brett's flat, send him a PM - I'll not post it in the thread just in case
See you there in 10 days!

Sure, sounds good.
Would be useful to get a list of people coming, by say the 22nd or so, so we can arrange what food we all bring. The horrifying alternative is that no one brings any food and we all just have to drink all day...
