In keeping with my New Year's resolution to be more active...I thought it would be fun to get together for an afternoon of ice skating at the Dolder outdoor rink. All levels are welcome from beginner to those doing triple axels.

The price of admission is approximately 7.50 CHF with skate rentals costing 6.50 CHF. There is also a nice cafe overlooking the rink which serves a large menu of snacks and various drinks.

The following are directions for reaching the Dolder outdoor rink:
- Take the 3, 8, or 15 tram lines to the Römerhof tram stop
- Exit the tram and go to the Dolderbahn funicular which is located across from the tram stop in the building with UBS written on the top.
- Ride the Dolderbahn funicular to the final stop.
- After leaving the funicular, follow a small walking path in the woods approximately two minutes to the rink.
(The entire trip including the funicular is in zone 10.)

For those who are interested in riding the funicular together, feel free to meet me near the kiosk at the base station of the funicular at 2PM. (The base station is the station near the Römerhof tram stop which is included in the directions above. It is a small station so it serves as a good meeting point.)
