Its about time that we start thinking about our next social event for Mar.2.2007 (friday). Depending upon the availability of the people, we could be flexible with the date and place.
So lets get this thing going and throw some ideas about the date and venue for our next social. We had a good turn out last time and the way it looks, its going to be even better this time.

Next Friday sounds good, mind you every day is a good day for going to the pub in my eyes.

I don't really know any venues in town, excep the two that we've been to before (Pinte Besson and the King Size Pub), so I can't offer much except enthusiasm for trying new and exciting places.

I already have something on earlier on that evening, but would definitely be up for a drink - la Bossette is a great place to go - you can eat there too (but it's better to reserve) - it's at Place du Nord (nr.the Cathedral), if not there is the Bleu Lézard, Captain Cooks, les Brasseurs, The Great Escape...

Whatthehell, man. I'm still homeless. It's because of that I might not be able to make it on Friday - I have some flats to see.

What time you going to see the flat? at 8-9 pm? And also let me know what location and how big an apartment you are looking for? I found my place as some one in the institute was leaving and he emailed every on the list. Usually we get emails about apartments when people want to move out. I will keep my eyes open.

I don't have any flats currently lined up for Friday night, since I was holding out for the results of one sure-fire apartment application... which was turned down this morning, so I will be scheduling visits the rest of the week instead of working.

I had one offer, but they changed the date on me from mid-Feb to 1 April due to renovations, and removed all the included furniture. Everything else has been 'sorry, we arbitrarily decided to give it to the people who applied mere hours before you, despite the fact they don't have the right to work in Switzerland yet and you clearly have a signed contract with you now'. I can only conclude agencies don't want money and the whole process sucks in no uncertain terms.
