anyway - the motor show - what does anyone think whos actually been?

any personal jetpacks?
I went last year , imo not the best motor show I have ever been to .....lots of shiny cars and millions of people in a huge shed heated to 100 degrees .....lol

but worth it to see the Bugatti Veyron ....... just awesome

Saying that i would not rush to go again ......the cars were there but a huge lack of side shows and entertainment....give me the London Boat show anyday .....much more fun ..!

I am going by groups. Vag/Fiat/BMW. Lambo stand has amazing Pata Negra ham upstairs... I'll tell you all about it.
They had the ham last year, I didn't see any this year. And I've bought 3 Lambos in the last 18 months!

There was alcohol, I distinctly remember several glasses of Proseco going down well as my dealer convinced me the merits of an LP670 SV in orange

First it was a black Gallardo Spyder, then an orange Gallardo Superleggera, then a white Gallardo LP560-4. Still have the latter two cars. The Superleggera is the exact car driven by Clarkson in the Top Gear "Best Driving Roads" episode (obviously fully refreshed by the factory beforehand!)

Re: 2009 Geneva Motor Show

I made the mistake of going there on last Saturday. It was ok until 11 o'clock but after that it became unbearably crowded, I got straight out then.

The cars became suddenly unattactrive when I realized once again that man makes cars as beautiful as he can but the one and only God creates women so beautiful that it's beyond comparison...
