Let's keep the ball rolling and have another Romandie social event. The 'Brasserie du Château' has good home-brewed beer and does nice pizza, so I think that we should give it a shot on Wednesday, 14th March ('07). It's at the top end of town, Place du Tunnel 1, see this map, closest bus stops are Riponne or Tunnel.

We'll be there from 8pm onwards, and this time Heather's moose Gordon will be back so that you can spot which table is us (you can see a pic' of him in this thread). Once again, everyone's invited (colleagues, friends, spouses), we'll reserve a table for about 10 people, but respond to this thread if you're planning to come so that we can adjust the number if necessary.

Sorry that this is shorter notice than we gave for the previous events, but if you miss this one then you're welcome to come to the next, which will probably be two weeks later.

damn. i think i won't be able to make it..
i'm up to my eye balls with flat hunting in lausanne, whilst living in martigny... sigh..
all these train trips are costing a fortune!
hopefully by the time the next meetup is organised, i'll actually be living in lausanne!

Maybe not for me either - lab demonstrations start next week and I have to get up to scratch on them before then. Also I'm reliant on someone else for some help at work right now and he's booked, so my timetable has to fit his.

Wish I could be there. I hoping to move to Lausanne next year. For now, I'm stuck in Leeds. It'll just be my luck that by the time I move there, all the interesting people will have left and there'll be no EF get togethers anymore.

We'll be happy to have you along, and welcome to the forum. It looks like I should up the reservation to a total of 12 people - excellent!

Hopefully they'll still be going strong by then, I for one will probably still be here. But even if no-one is organizing an EF get together by then, it won't be hard to start it up yourself - that is what we did.

I would jsut like to say that it was a fantastic night, and yes i now agree GREAT PIZZA
