Looked at the long long range forecast for June 27th. Snow and sleet and floods expected.

Terry- are you thinking by the camping area? If so might want to get this started early since the grills go quick.

Usually I'm as "last minute" as anyone else, which is why this never happened for 2008 - technically rather than being 4 months early, this is 8 months late
Yep I was thinking the one by the camping area - might be worth trying to find a map with it on, I wasn't sure of the address hence why it just says "The Beach"
And I dunno what you mean about cursing the weather, most of this mornings snow has melted and there's a tiny patch of blue sky that I can see... (well, til tomorrow anyway)

and for those sadden by the new law against nude hiking, not too far away from the camp site is a Nude beach for the overall tan.

Who's up for a camping weekend to extend the lols to Terry's guitar solos? (There's a rhyme in the there somewhere...)

I was on the train earlier, and I overhead a really bizarre conversation...
"I have free tickets to the St Gallen Open-Air"
"Sorry, I can't go, I'm heading to the EF Zug Beach BBQ Extravaganza"
"Really?? Wow golly, I wish I could go too!"
Well, now you can!
This is probably the worst bump ever, by the way.

Mama G is back today so I'll confirm over the weekend, would it be ok to bring dogs..... not to BBQ... unless they mis-behave. Where about is it on the lake your are thinking about, and would you want any help to organise it?

It's the man-made beach part which is around the lake towards Cham... RetiredInNH added a link earlier in the thread.
Help to organise - um, shouldn't really take too much organising really - there's already a grill there, it's more of a social thing than a formal organised day out - come and go as and when you choose, with dogs / family / food / drinks / frisbees / etc, there's plenty of space for everyone | | This user would like to thank terryhall for this useful post: | |

I'm presuming this is a bring your own food and drink event. If anyone is considering travelling from Zurich, perhaps it'd be an idea to hire a minibus so it's comfort all the way?
I'm still intending to make it a camping weekend, so if anyone else is up for a bottle of whisky and a mellow mood around the fire on the Friday and later on the Saturday night you'd be more than welcome to join Although not in my tent, unless your surname is Jolie... or Hall... |

It is a BYOB&BBQ event
Parking is limited . If your local best way to come is with a bicycle The closest train stop is Schutzengel with the S1 train.

I'm confused. The one indicated above is not the BBQ beach near the nudist beach, is it?
