Well, I enjoyed the Zürich one so much, and as Basel is only an hour or so by train I'll pop along to this one as well.

Karl - I assume it's OK to have a Zürich dweller in Basel for this?

A thought about the venue. Starbucks is fairly central (and only 50m from my apartment, so great for me) But it can also get crowded. I'm not suggesting you change venues at this late hour but maybe see how the first meeting goes and ask the opinion of some of the locals.
An alternative could be upstairs at "ONO" cafe/bar. It should be quieter and maybe more room. Tran No. 3 to Leonhardsgraben 2, 4051 Basel.

Do you have some thoughts about a programme? If not, I attended a five day digital photography course last year at the London School of Photography. Just the basics, but the outline programme might be a useful framework if you don't have anything.

Thanks i have this organised allready. The Zurich programme was very succesfull. Looking forward to seeing you there, your help will be appreciated in carrying this forward.

I think that is a good suggestion for subsequent meetings. I only suggested Starbucks Aeshenplatz because its in the quasi-financial district of Basel and therefore likely to be relatively quiet on a Sunday afternoon.
