It's both!

It started last time with a beer and an informal tutorial/Q&A session and then we hit the streets to have a bit of practice.

It's little more structured than "just a fun get together" but still very informal. There were a good number of experienced photographers there last time, so if you have any problems or need some advice you can pitch your questions to them.

Come to the next one and see what you think.

its ok , not everyone stays until late.... people come and go from 4pm onwards..

Hi Karl

With there being more light in the evenings it may be an idea to have a meet one evening during the week. It would also suit those that have busy weekends.

I'd also be happy to do a weekday evening (as long as beer happens

). On a good day we'd have some of the best light for photography as well.

I'm pretty free on most weekday evenings, so I'll go with the majority.
