Dinner in Zurich on May 21

I know this is somewhat short notice - but on the other hand, most
people decide what they do last minute, anyway, so I thought I should
give it a try. I firmly believe that it is better to organize short
notice than not to do anything, and this weekend, I could not organize
sooner.
What about meeting Sunday evening for dinner or drinks or a movie,
also depending on the weather? I would like to try the Blue Monkey in
the Niederdorf, near the Rosenhof, where we can sit outside if the
weather is good. Otherwise, we will be in the downstairs section. I will be there from 6.30 on. If we want to, we can go on to a movie from there - or just stay. I will make reservations based on the number of people I know will come.
Everyone is welcome, but the last times that I offered events to the whole group, all people who came were singles over thirty, regardless. So, if you want to mingle with non-singles, my stuff is probably not the best forum. But if you want to join me in meeting some great people, just come by. And if you are single, who knows...

Hi Britta,

Not 100% sure yet - but might join you, will let you know later.

Just to re-affirm what Britta already explained: I'm not single, but I'll go anyway. So if any other non-singles want to join, don't be afraid

The Blue Monkey is a good choice. Any idea of which film you might like to see? Might require booking?

Re: Dinner in Zurich on May 21

Hi, everyone

Yes, everyone is welcome. I will only make reservations for those who confirm that they are coming. But if you just come by, we will always find room. Actually, there are currently 5 people who definitely want to come and 6 who may come. So far, no one has really expressed a strong interest in going to the movies, so that I assume we will just stay at the Blue Monkey. But if we do want to go to the movies, my choices would be Inside Man, Water or Keeping Mum.

I hope you can make it, Mark. And (although belatedly): Congratulations on your anniversary. This forum is a great and friendly place, and I am grateful for all the work you put into this.
See you
Britta

Hi Britta,

As Diem mentioned that not many meet ups seem to happen from this forum, I think its great that you keep organising stuff. I will do my best to come and join you and meet you in the Blue Monkey tomorrow.

Lets just hope for nice weather
