The BBC Wildlife Masterclasses are now available online:

http://www.bbcwildlifemagazine.com/masterclasses.asp

They're a really nice collection of very specific tips and inspiration on different types of wildlife photography. Well worth a read through.

The best piece of advice I can give is to go to a shop, try them both out, and go for the one that you feel more comfortable with. Both are great cameras, and both will produce excellent results. Personally I favour Nikon, however there are great many others that favour Canon. In reality it makes no difference.

Sechseläuten

Sechseläuten is this coming Monday, with the Zug der Zünfte starting at 15:00, and the Böögg being set on fire after the parade. Who's up for a visit?

Re: Zurich Photoclub

Hi all,

Photography is also my hobby, although I'm not good at it...but anyway, with the beauty of this country I think that even myself can take nice pictures!

It has been 1 year and half since I bought my 50D and staterd learning a bit about dSLR photography...although the feeling I have is that everyday I know less!!

I hope I will be able to join you for one of these gatherings in the future!

Re: Zurich Photoclub

Hi Members of Zurich Photoclub,

I stumbled across an international body painting festival in Austria this July and think it would be fun to be a model there.

Personally I have no modeling experience and do not want to get into the business as a career. The model registration asked for 2 photos. Even tho it's purely for a fun experience, I would still like the photos to be professional-ish done.

If anyone swapping some portrait photography experience (you) and photos (me), please PM me!

Just an idea for a meeting: I'll give you a tour through my exhibition ( http://www.franksomogyi.ch/yabonga/exhib/index.htm ) and later on we turn that into an available-light-workshop (read: taking pictures while having tea in a cafe in the shit wheather).
